The PoT Seminar in Nicosia didn’t just provide more certified School Instructors for Cyprus — it helped us spread the word and plant the chess seed.

The seminar wrapped up on July 6th, and the very next day our Academy was already presenting chess at Aradippou Summer School in Larnaca. In the two weeks that followed, five more presentations took place. Themida and Daniela, two of the teachers who participated in the PoT course were the initiators of the initiative.

One of our graduates and newly certified SIs, Andreas Skouroupatis, proudly introduced chess as an activity in his summer classroom.

More than 200 children were introduced to our magical world, and the teachers were amazed when the kids started asking for chess boards… to play during their breaks.

That’s the power of chess.

That’s the beginning of something bigger.
